Bacteria starter for biological filters-
The bacteria in Biokick 1 is the same as that found naturally in
ponds. The bacteria has been separated, filtered and dried in a special
way. Contact with the water revives the bacteria. It is advisable to
sprinkle Biokick into flowing water or onto a filter foam. The OASE Biotec
filter is equipped with the so-called Biotec-Plus-Zone. This zone is the
most favourable area to add Biokick because a steady flow of water is
guaranteed. One ounce of Biokick is sufficient to provide 1300 gallons of
pond water with the appropriate amount of filter bacteria.
