Application: For ponds up to a maximum of 500 or 700 gallons The BioClear Series of filters provide efficient and low cost mechanical filtration to maximize pond clarity. Their primary filter media is Zeolite aggregate. Zeolite is available in an inexpensive porous container so replacement is simple and easy. The Zeolite should be replaced once per year. These filters should be installed outside of the pond for easy maintenance. The BioClear 2 (a 9 gallon filter) is recommended for ponds up to 500 gallons while the BioClear 3 (a 14.5 gallon filter) is recommended forponds up to 700 gallons. The BioClear 2 should be used with a pump flow not exceeding 220 gph and the BioClear 3 with a pump flow not exceeding 220 to 325 gph. 3 year warranty ! (excluding aggregate)
