The Oase Aquapur 18 is a pressurized filtration system that uses active carbon as a media to filter and treat the water. This filter may be mounted above or below the ground. It may also be mounted below the water level if check valves are installed.The Aquapur 18 is easily cleaned by simply rinsing the filter pad and reversing the direction of flow through the filter. With the Aquapur 18, use of an ultra-violet light is not usually required. The charcoal granulate is very effective in reducing algae as well as unpleasant odors.
