 Sizing Requirement Guidelines for Pump Cable

From the chart below. select the pump's horsepower and then select the distance required from the control panel to the floating fountain unit. Allow for extra-cable length, because the cable will probably run along the bottom of the lake or pond due to the weight of the cable. The code indicated in the chart refers to the cable gauge:

Please note that the cable has to be "one continuous run" from the command center to the pump unit. Should the cable wire not be long enough, adding extra cable or additional connections will cause the pump to operate incorrectly or not at all.
